Title I

The purpose of the Title I, Part A grant is to provide all children with a significant opportunity to receive a fair, equitable, high-quality education, and to close educational achievement gaps as part of Section 1001 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA 1001).  As a school receiving federal Title I funding, we are required by law to share important information with our community. This is part of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), a federal law that ensures all students have access to a quality education.

The following artifacts are posted to:

• Inform Parents: This memo explains your rights and how you can be involved in your child's education and school planning.

• Ensure Accountability: This School-Parent Compact  is our written agreement that outlines the responsibilities of the school, the parents, and the students to work together to improve student academic achievement. It is a shared commitment to success.

• Promote Transparency: This document contains information about how we plan to involve families in their children's education and in the school's overall decision-making.

We believe that a strong partnership between the school and families is essential for student success, and providing this information openly is a key part of that commitment.
