School Community Council (SCC)

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education (HIDOE) relies on School Community Councils (SCC) as part of shared decision-making to support student achievement. Composed of elected representatives—including the principal, teachers, school staff, parents, students, and community members—our council provides input on school policies, advises leadership, and reviews our annual Academic Plan and Comprehensive Financial Plan.

Agendas, Minutes & Public Testimony

In accordance with HIDOE policy, meeting agendas are posted at least 6 calendar days prior to each meeting, and approved minutes are posted following formal council adoption.

Public Testimony:

All SCC meetings are open to the public. Community members may submit testimony to this Google Form up to 24 hours prior to the meeting or present oral testimony during the designated public testimony period on the agenda.
